CULTIVATING A CULTURE OF HOPE
The mission of Reliance Ministries Inc. is to provide a four-part holistic pregnancy center model, including our medical clinic, Reliance Center. Our mission is to eliminate the need for abortion, break destructive cycles, and provide real tools for men and women to live the most abundant lives possible.
Our Story
FAITH. OBEDIENCE. HOPE.
Heather Lawless, Founder of Reliance Ministries and Reliance Center, has been a part of the pro-love, pro-life movement for over a decade. She served as the Director of Development at a pregnancy center for almost six years. She always had a love for life, but her time there also grew her passion for helping women and families. She started an Embrace Grace group at her church and found that the need to provide long-term help to women AND men in crisis was real. Her desire to be there for them and then “prove it” became a fire in her heart. She wanted to increase the impact of the pregnancy help movement. In 2017, the Lord gave Heather the vision for Reliance Ministries and the Hope Model.
On September 11, 2018, Reliance Center, the first phase of the Hope Model, opened its doors in Lewiston, ID. Reliance Center is a fully operating pregnancy medical center offering holistic pregnancy, relationship, parenting, and sexual health services, offering hope and life to hurting women and men.

Heather's Story
Heather had a calling on her as a voice for life even when she was in the womb. Her mother, who was a kidney transplant patient, was told she should never have children. When she became pregnant the doctors and her family told her to have an abortion. Her mother refused. The doctor told her mother that if she lived through the pregnancy, she would not live to see her child turn eighteen. Heather’s mother chose life and by God’s grace, her mother lived and loved her until Heather was twenty-eight and then went home to be with Jesus.

In her late teens, Heather found herself going from relationship to relationship to find love and comfort. She was married, divorced, and facing an unplanned pregnancy by the time she was twenty-three. Heather chose life for her child and is now blessed with a beautiful fifteen-year-old daughter. After two marriages ending in divorce and as a single mom of a toddler, Heather made the choice to finally surrender all of life to Jesus. From there, everything changed.
